Was at home rushing some things done before I head out to meet up with Justina.
It’s her birthday! She’s late late. Met up with her and friend (Ivy) at Bugis. Ivy gave us a lift to the Si Ma Lu Temple. Prayed there. Took the “fu” – “blessed papers”. Ivy’s a nice and friendly person, quite a religious person also.
And then to the Singapore Buddhist Lodge. It was a very fast affair.
Wanted to show her around the Singapore Buddhist Lodge, but was very stressed cos Ivy didn’t want to enter the temple after visiting Si Ma Lu Temple. So we made the visit a very fast one. Was a pity didn’t get to eat the vegetarian food – they are still cooking. Only got some noodles. Think Justina isn’t so used to the place also. Think she didn’t expect the food to be open air and the utensils are self-serviced. =) Also there are lots of elderly people around. I haven’t told her that we need to wash the utensils ourselves too, and put them back on the shelves ourselves too! Hope to bring her there again if there’s a chance. This time round with the food ready and more time at the temple! Might wanna sit there and just admire the status, and listen to the chantings. I love doing that, gives me great peace. She got herself some good buddhist books also. We made the donations at the end of the visit.
Ivy dropped us at Lido Isetan somewhere there. Ice cream station is the first stop! =P
Then we headed to a bustop to take our 518 bus to Tampines. Alighted at 201. Seen some cutey bunnies and mousies! Then head to Simei! Walked around also. Then head to Tampines Mall for Genki! Then walk walk…
Sat at a ‘kopi tiam’ outside Century Square for our Beancurd. =) Yummilious! Forgot to go Supermarket! Heheee.
Then head home liao. Time flies. Justina looks exhuasted!
